Speak Up: West Millsboro annexation still on table

Posted

A high-density annexation the developer says could bring affordable rentals to a growth area on the town’s western edge remains in limbo. Town Council, after closure of a public hearing extended from its March meeting, tabled the matter Monday, pending further research of Millsboro’s comprehensive plan. The annexation request is expected to be next addressed at May’s meeting. Betts Commons, the proposed Ingerman community, would be on 5.2 acres of currently unincorporated land.
