William “Chris” McDonald, commander of the 436th Airlift Wing at Dover, enjoys discussing the commitment given by the site’s active airmen and reservists. On Nov. 25, he took center stage at the State of the Base briefing, an annual event that brings business, community and military leaders together to boost understanding of the base’s role in local and global affairs.
