Speak Up: State Fair memories: Were you in 4-H?

Delaware State Fair 2023 included arts and crafts, culinary, floral, garden vegetable, farm, fruit and apiary competitions through the fairgrounds. Plus, livestock, dairy, horse and poultry shows and judging were held throughout the week. Were you in 4-H? What did you exhibit at your local or state fair?
- I was in 4-H and entered vegetables. I won ribbons and money. The best part was I got a free pass, and my neighbors entered livestock, which gave me a free ride to and from the fair. — Chuck Holliday
