Speak Up: Response to Preserve Indian River watershed letter

Posted

“I oppose the proposed development of Stillwater Harbor, off River Road, Millsboro. The out-of-state developer is Compass Point Cove LLC from Maryland. Much of the 53.95 acres are environmentally sensitive wetlands, and it includes one of the last remaining parcels of large contiguous forests in the frequently flooded Oak Orchard area.”

  • Ms. Scarborough is correct in opposing this development. The insanity of zoning laws is allowing out-of-state developers to rob Delaware of is its precious woodlands, its wildlife, its farmlands. It is purely greed. We can never regain land that has been lost to developers. — Carole Banse-Doyon
