“From the moment Joe Biden opened his mouth and uttered the first words of his inaugural address, he started lying to the American public. From the alleged Democratic perspective, Joe was elected to bring civility and unity back to America. My estimation is that nothing could have been further from the truth.”
- “When I started writing this article, the cost of a barrel of brent crude was $83.95. In 2019, that cost was $64! From what I read, that price is only going to increase. At this writing, it costs $3.25 for a gallon of gas at Royal Farms. That price is only going to go higher.” Before you start talking about causes for energy price increases, do some research about what drives oil prices. Oil prices in the U.S. are based on the supply and demand for oil in the world market. Saudi Arabia and other oil-producing countries, Russia, Venezuela, etc., have formed a cartel, OPEC+, to decrease the amount of oil produced in order to raise the price. Even the shale oil companies refused to increase their drilling in order to maintain their stock prices (oilprice.com, Oct. 4, 2021). OPEC+ controls 60% of oil traded in the world (investopedia.com, Aug. 31, 2021). I’ll help you. Google “Did OPEC lower oil production?” See what you come up with. The U.S. can be energy-independent, but prices are determined by the world market. — Steve Caporiccio
- I completely agree with all of your writing. Biden voters are responsible for all of this. (By the way, I have yet to meet somebody who admitted to have voted for Biden. Maybe the election was stolen?) It was “anybody but Trump, he hurt my feelings,” and now, we don’t know if we will survive as a nation. Or are they working towards another civil war? If Biden is replaced, Harris is not any better. So where does that leave us? — Alex Fowler
