Speak Up: Primary election nears for Delaware candidates

The time for Delawareans to cast their ballots is quickly approaching, as the state’s primary election is less than two weeks away.

On Sept. 13, voters will have the chance to pick their desired candidate in their respective party. While all seats in Delaware’s General Assembly will be available due to redistricting, there are a select number of competitive races.

• Really loving these recessionary times … vote Red! — Howard Gaines III
• Even if we did vote Red, all of New Castle County somehow has more votes than Kent and Sussex combined. Makes no sense to me. I’m voting Red anyways. — Charles Cain
