Speak Up: No country but US uses an electoral college

Joshua Holzer’s Opinion explained the background of the U.S. Electoral College and why it’s the only country to use it.

• On the subject matter of the Electoral College, I think it should be modified from the state level to the county level. There are currently 3,243 counties in the USA and its territories that vote. I think that giving each county a vote would allow even the small cities and towns to be heard. That would stop one big city from deciding the electoral vote for the whole state. — Howard Brobst
