Speak Up: New Delaware highway sign arrives after typo

Even on Delaware Day, the First State still got no respect. Social media was abuzz recently, as a photo of a new sign put up as part of the ongoing construction on Interstate 95 through Wilmington got the attention and ribbing of thousands. The sign for Exit 7 (Delaware Avenue) had one slight problem: It was spelled “Delware Ave.”
