Harrington’s new chief, city manager to continue teamwork

Kenny Brode’s father served as a Delaware State Police trooper. His brother and uncle were police dispatchers. Plus, “All my dad’s friends were police officers,” he said. “I grew up in that environment, and I knew a lot of police, so I just knew that (that’s) what I wanted to do. I can say that I’m very blessed and honored to serve as chief of police in a city that I love.”

  • Let’s hope they don’t shut it down again. — Jaden Blondin
  • I guess Delaware likes for the taxes they could be collecting going to surrounding states. I’ll be driving across the Delaware River. — Charlie Harper
