Speak Up: Masks now required for all at University of Delaware

The University of Delaware announced Friday it will require masks in all indoor facilities for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals with limited exceptions, effective immediately. The mandate covers all campus buildings, including classrooms, hallways, laboratories, residence halls and offices. UD said masks should be worn in dining areas, except when eating or drinking.

Delaware athletes, experts warn that mental health is just as important as physical fitness in Olympics

The mental health of athletes has come to the forefront after several Olympians withdrew from or nearly ended their journey to the Olympic Games in Tokyo to seek help and focus on their well-being. Citing mental health concerns, gymnast Simone Biles pulled out of the finals of the individual all-around competition, as well as the vault, uneven bars and floor finals.
