“Regarding the Little Heaven underpass, aka the Bowers Beach underpass, at the intersection of Clapham Road, Bowers Beach Road and Del. 1: Drive the length of Del. 1 and you’ll find overpasses. One after another. Car dealerships have one; the sports complex got one. Even little Frederica got one. But right next to trailer parks and a small-house neighborhood, bestowed upon the little people … an underpass.”
- Another great idea by DelDOT and all to avoid one light. Made no sense when they did it and less sense now. But it gets the out-of-state beach travelers a faster way to get to the beach, the heck with Delaware residents. It’s like the bypass in Dover that comes out by Rodney Village. Wasted a whole bunch of beautiful fields to put roads through to make travel faster. It only makes us look more like South Jersey. You know, mansions on half-acre lots where farms used to be. Back roads become I-95, ahh! — Jay Pratt
