When Alexis Harris, a 26-year-old Raleigh, North Carolina, native, moved to Delaware in May 2019, she committed to loving the First State. After constantly hearing the narrative that the state was boring, she was determined to see what it had to offer, so she used her digital marketing expertise to launch First State Destinations, a social media hub dedicated to Delaware’s best food, views and things to do.
