Restaurateurs Dennis and Carolyn Forbes have a saying: “Food unites us all.” Restaurants are the places people go to for birthdays, fundraisers, anniversaries and to mourn someone’s passing. Many people get their first job experiences at local eateries, as dishwashers or busboys. Mr. and Ms. Forbes have been bringing people together in their restaurants a long time. They opened their first in 1977, with the late Bob Comollo of Smyrna. The Forbeses own and operate Cool Springs Fish Bar and Restaurant in Dover.
