Speak Up: Dover City Council receives pushback from ACLU over dawdling ordinance

After a discussion about toeing the line of constitutionality, a City Council committee on Tuesday unanimously tabled an ordinance that would have created a new chapter within Dover’s code against dawdling.

Referendum to reopen Milford Middle School held

Polls opened at 7 a.m. Wednesday for Milford School District’s capital referendum, which, if passed, would mean the restoration and reopening of Milford Middle School on Lakeview Avenue. Unofficial results reported Thursday from the Delaware Department of Elections is 1,406 in favor and 678 opposed to the project.
