The design phase has arrived for the new Sussex Technical High School complex in Georgetown, a project that has grown in cost and will mesh old and new.
On Sept. 13, Sussex Technical School District’s board of education unanimously approved blueprints for the expansion, which now carries an estimated $249 million price tag. It will house 1,600 students, with capacity to grow to 1,800.
