Response to gun law letter

Let me tell you about what I observed at a local gun shop. I was present in a local gun shop, when three teenagers came in and asked the owner to let them see a handgun. He asked for ID to see how old they were. They had no ID. They wanted to handle the pistol, and the owner refused because he couldn’t sell to a minor, so they left the shop.

  • It will at least slow them down. — Richard Schwager

Response to pickleball question

Pickleball is all the rage up and down the state. A hybrid of tennis and Ping Pong, players on a half-sized court use a paddle to pass a rubbery ball with holes ball back and forth over a net. It’s popular with folks young to old and can be played for fun or competitively. Why and where do you play pickleball?

  • Looks like fun. When Milford puts in the new courts. I’m going to have to check it out. — Vincent J Deskiewicz Sr.
