Speak UP: Delaware officials applaud passage of postal reform
Delaware community leaders celebrated Congress’ decision this week to increase postal reform measures. Congress on Tuesday passed legislation that would shore up the U.S. Postal Service and ensure six-day-a-week mail delivery, sending the bill to President Joe Biden to sign into law.
- Dover's new post office did not help with the service they provide, and it will take more than throwing money at their problems to solve them. Many employees don't seem to know or care about what they are doing and we cannot rely on mail delivery at all these days. We are trying our best not to use the USPS for anything important whenever we can. When you have such a large organization that is free from any sort of accountability to the customer, the current dismal situation is what you end up with. I'd like to hear more about the prospect of eliminating the USPS altogether. I think that it's an option that is worth considering. — B Hartman
