Speak Up: Delaware looks to make COVID bivalent boosters available

Posted

The state has ordered approximately 17,000 doses of bivalent COVID-19 boosters for Division of Public Health clinics and enrolled medical providers. Administration of these updated boosters, which target the latest variants, could begin after Labor Day. An additional supply is being sent directly to pharmacies and federally qualified health centers. The Food and Drug Administration already granted emergency use authorization to Pfizer and Moderna for the bivalent boosters.
