What can be done to boost the number of residents who cast ballots (“Question of the Week: How can voter turnout be increased?”?
Instead of party primaries, there should be one primary ballot, open to all candidates and to all registered voters, regardless of party affiliation.
Everybody runs, everybody votes, and the top two vote-getters advance to the general election.
