Smoot: Fix our country by not voting for Republicans

Posted

Two more U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement shootings. More Trump threats to invade Greenland, Venezuela (again), Cuba, Iran, et al. Lies from Vice President JD Vance and Kristi Noem, the homeland security secretary. Senate and House of Representatives Republicans cowering in quiet deference to our incompetent, criminal president. His efforts to rob the Venezuelans of their country and resources to enhance the wealth of his family and his billionaire buddies — along with his attempt to change the history of his effort to overthrow our elections and the pardoning of any criminal he believes support his acts — is all the proof we need.

One must wonder why any true Republican who believed in Ronald Reagan can continue to support the actions of this anti-democratic, unconstitutional gang? It is time to question all Republicans, especially those who live among us, about how they can look in the mirror and proclaim they support America. There is only one conclusion that can be drawn from their inaction. They are as much traitors to the real American way as those incompetents running our government today.

The only way to overcome the threat to our nation’s future is to abandon voting for any Republican in the coming elections. The ship is sinking under Republican rule. We must get rid of the rats on that sinking ship and put the blame where it belongs: on all those who blindly follow the criminals piloting that ship, which means all Republicans — local, state and national. Get rid of Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md., as well as the Freedom Caucus and the “Make America Great Again” crowd. Then, our country may survive this Republican reign of terror.
