I have lived in Delaware 10 years. And, in that time, the Democrats controlling the government have been pushing agendas to stop climate change — from solar farms to windmills off the coast to being forced to buy electric vehicles by 2035.
In January, I tried to do my small part to help the environment by purchasing a hybrid vehicle. I now learn that I am going to be taxed on that vehicle. It is obvious to me that state officials are more concerned about money than they are about climate change.
I hope everyone remembers this in the next election. Democrat Bill Bush and Republican Eric Buckson are my representative and senator, respectively.
