Rehoboth Beach opens nominations for August election
By REHOBOTH BEACH — Nomination forms for the August election of two Board of Commissioners are being accepted until 4:30 p.m. Monday before candidates are reviewed, by the sitting board of commissioners, to determine eligibility.
According to the charter, a candidate must be 21 years of age and must either reside within the city or be a freeholder of real estate within the city.
The election has been scheduled for Saturday, August 10. To request a nominating petition, email elections@cityofrehoboth.com or call 302-227-6181, ext. 159.
