The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s 2024 budget request includes a one-time appropriation of $500,000 for the Tree for Every Delawarean initiative. The program is part of Delaware’s comprehensive plan to respond to climate change. Gov. John Carney noted in his State of the State address last month that there were 120,000 trees in the program’s registry at that time. Where in Delaware would you like to see more trees planted?
