Mother, stepfather sentenced to prison in connection with child's death in Smyrna

Kristie L. Haas was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday for the death of her daughter whose burned remains were found near softball fields in Smyrna in September 2019. The stepfather, Brandon Haas was sentenced to four years and one month in prison.
