Millsboro teen arrested after shooting incident

Posted

MILLSBORO — A 15-year-old Millsboro male was arrested for felony gun and related charges after a shooting incident, Delaware State Police said.

This occured around Long Neck, an unincorporated region of the Millsboro zip code.

Authorities said that at approximately 12:12 p.m., Tuesday, troopers responded to the 26000 block of Blue Dolphin Lane for a report of a shooting that occurred the night before. The investigation revealed that during an argument with another teenager, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim, then fired a shot inside the house as he was leaving, police said.

There were four juveniles in the house at the time and no one was hurt during the incident, police said.

Detectives identified and arrested the suspect. He was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, first-degree reckless endangering (four counts), and aggravated menacing. He was then sent to Stevenson House Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
