The selling of marijuana is legal in Delaware and regulated by the state. How is it that municipalities have the right to further restrict it?
It is a legal product subject to state-level regulations on when and where it can be sold. Just because a community doesn’t like it doesn’t mean they should be able to restrict it.
I am not a fan of fast food, and I think it’s poison for people. That doesn’t mean I am going to ask my town to ban the sale of it within town limits, though. The state needs a law to prevent towns from interfering with lawful commerce just because they don’t like the product.
