LETTER TO THE EDTIOR: Islam religion is tied with politics and military

For several weeks there has been much commentary in the op-ed page and Sound Offs relative to the Muslim prayer offered in the Delaware Senate. Then on April 26 there was a Muslim rally at Leg Hall. The rally was peaceful and Muslims certainly have every right to express their views in this manner. I, however, would like to address the non-Muslims (those infidels — “those who declare that God is the Christ, the son of Mary” Qur’an, Sura 5:17) who attended this rally, as well as others who expressed views condemning the actions of two senators who left the room when the Muslim prayer was given. I am quite sure that these folks are well pleased with themselves as tolerant, accepting, educated people who dismiss the rest of us as bigoted, nearsighted loons. The extent of ignorance of American history, the history of Islam, the knowledge of our Constitution, as well as the Delaware Constitution, is overwhelming. This is partly because of what is taught and not taught in our schools, as well as an intellectual laziness to not bother to look into these matters in depth, to only accept sound bites and what someone else says. Consider that, in Islam, anyone who is not Muslim is an unbeliever and an “infidel.” “Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends.” (Sura 5:51) “Infidels are those that say ‘God is one of three in a Trinity.’” (Sura 5:73) “Make war on the infidels who dwell around you.” (Sura 9:123) “The infidels are your sworn enemies.” (Sura 9:123) “When you meet the infidel in the battlefield, strike off their heads.” (Sura 47:4) “Mohammed is Allah’s apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the infidels.” (Sura 66:9) “Kill the disbelievers wherever we find them.” (Sura 2:191) “The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger … will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land.” (Sura 5:33) “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, of the People of the Book (Christians), until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.” (Sura 9:29) “Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers smite their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them); thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom.” (Sura 47:4) “Believers. Do not make friends with those who have incurred the wrath of Allah.” (Sura 60:13) “Never be a helper to the disbelievers.” (Sura 28:86) One thing that Americans should know is that Islam is not simply a religion. It is also a political system and a military system, and the three parts cannot be separated. The political part of Islam is governed by a set of rules known as Shariah. These rules take precedence over all other governmental types — including our Constitution. All Muslims consider Shariah superior to the Constitution, and the goal of Islam for 1,500 years has been the eventual establishment of a Caliphate, a government under Shariah, worldwide — either through persuasion or by force. When a Muslim says Islam is “peaceful,” he really means that when Islam conquers their enemies, there is peace. Therefore, when a Muslim offers a prayer in the Delaware Senate calling on Allah for “peace,” he is really praying for the establishment of Islam. There are those that use the 1st article of the Bill of Rights to defend tolerance of any belief in a mistaken application of the freedom-of-religion clause. That clause says that the establishment of a state-sponsored religion, as was common in 1778, is forbidden and individuals can believe or not believe as they choose – nothing more. Every one of the 21 Amendments to the U.S. Constitution is the antithesis of Shariah — no exceptions. I have no intention of rebutting every comment in the State News. It is a waste of breath and paper. But I would like to issue a challenge to those with courage and enough intellectual curiosity to investigate the following: The Arabic words al Taqiyya (al-takeyya); al hirga; hudna; and dhimmi. The reason why Thomas Jefferson had a copy of the Qur’an in his library. The reason for the establishment of the Marine Corps. The mission of Commodore Stephen Decatur and Commodore William Bainbridge in 1815. Why the Marines are known as “leathernecks.” The list of rules for dhimmis who live [in] Islamic nations today. The Battle of Tours in 780. (Have today’s students and college grads ever heard of it?) How about the Armenian slaughter in the last century? (Do today’s citizens even know where Armenia is?) The history of black Africans enslaved by Muslims from 650 to 1950. (A book entitled “Islam’s Black Slaves” by Ronald Segal will help. Saudi Arabia and Yemen ended the public trading of slaves in 1962 and Mauritania in 1980 — although it still exists in secret. Mohammed himself kept and approved of slavery, provided they were non-Muslim.) Why is there a wall around the Vatican? The massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India may be unparalleled in history and while you are at it, you might want to research Tammerlane (who is he?). The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) declaration on Human Rights in 1990 affirming Shariah as supreme, with the death penalty for those who leave Islam, punishes women who are victims of rape, allows men to be polygamous, permits wife-beating and censors any speech considered insulting to Islam. Imam Anjem Choudary’s call for the complete upheaval of the British ruling system and demanding full implementation of Shariah in Britain. (Recorded in the London Daily Express on October 15, 2009.) And for the Methodist minister who wrote an op-ed in the State News, you might want to research what John Wesley, Methodism’s founder, wrote about Islam. Hint: you will find it in “Doctrine of Original Sin,” 1817, page 35, and “Works,” 1841, page ix 205. This list has grown long enough, although there is a lot more. To aid in your search — again, if readers have the courage or intellectual curiosity to examine the truth about Islam, I recommend the book “What Every American Needs to Know About the Qur’an – A History of Islam and the United States,” by William J. Federer, which can be obtained through Amazon for about $12. It is exceptionally well-researched and irrefutable. Finally, to Senators Lawson and Bonini, I commend you both and admire you for your courage, knowing full well that there would be an outcry against you. You are remaining true to your oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I only wish our other elected officials would do the same.
