Letter to the Editor: U.S. could take a page from Kennedy’s reaction to Russia

Posted

The United States does not want to get involved in Ukraine. But back in the 1960s, when John F. Kennedy was president, Russia sent warships to Cuba and tried some trouble with the United States. President Kennedy broadcast over the airwaves to tell Nikita Khrushchev of Russia that he would give him a time frame to move the warships back to Russia, and if not, he would blow them out of the water.
