As a south Dover resident and property owner in Kent County Levy Court District 2, I would like to recommend voting to reelect Jeff Hall as our District 2 commissioner.
When Jeff ran for his first term, he brought with him 31 years of experience in the U.S. Coast Guard as a technical manager and project officer and then 10 years’ experience as a department chair for the engineering technologies programs at Dover’s Delaware Technical Community College campus. He has a sound track record on fiscal responsibility as Finance Committee chair and was the public safety chair while the county expanded its paramedic services with a new paramedic station to serve western Kent County. During summer breaks from school, Jeff could be seen working at Papen Farms and has retained his commitment to the farming community through Aglands Preservation Program funding and respecting the agricultural concerns about solar installations.
We need a commissioner with a deep understanding of Kent County issues and one that will find that careful balance between business, residential development, agriculture and maintaining our special Kent County quality of life.
I believe Jeff Hall is the best person to represent us in District 2.
