It is my pleasure to write this letter in support of Stell Parker Selby, a candidate for the 20th District seat in the Delaware House of Representatives (Lewes, Milton, Pinetown, Belltown, Nassau).
Stell has the knowledge, enthusiasm and integrity to deserve your vote as representative. I have known Stell for many years, and I have only known her to make every effort and participate fully in any responsible offices she has held.
Stell’s experience has provided her the opportunity to know what needs to be done in our state and our county; her previous experience is as a longtime community leader, teacher and school administrator for more than 30 years in the Cape Henlopen School District. She was born in Milford, Delaware, and raised in Lewes and Milton. She served on the Beebe Medical Center board (16 years), the Cape Henlopen school board (president), the Delaware State University Board of Trustees, Milton City Council and boards of many other community and state organizations.
Stell’s a champion for health care and education, and plans to focus on finding common ground for smart growth that does not threaten our environment and undermine what we love about our area. She believes no person should face discrimination and that voting is a civil right that must not be disturbed. She thinks women are intelligent beings who should not have anyone other than themselves making decisions about their own bodies.
Additional information about Stell Parker Selby — she is a leader by example and a community leader; is aware of health care challenges, safety, human rights, environmental preservation and education; and listens to all sides.
I strongly believe Stell will be a true advocate for everyone. Her tireless involvement in the community and state shows that she is a woman of service and integrity who genuinely wants the best for all Delawareans. I know she will continue to serve with the same passion she exhibits in all her endeavors.
For these reasons, I am supporting Stell Parker Selby as the next representative for District 20, and I ask all the voters to do likewise. You will “Do Well With Stell.”
