I knew Ron Silverio and how he supported this concept and legislation.
We all determine how we live. We should also have the right to determine how we die. Why should we suffer in pain when death is inevitable? This bill gives us that choice. It is so hard to see someone die in pain, and sometimes, for some, choosing to end their lives is the only option.
As pet owners, we take care of them. When they are to the point of being sick and in pain, we, as pet owners, know when it is time to let go. A veterinarian is able to let them go in peace. We treat our pets better than we do our family members who are dying. No one should have to suffer needlessly.
This bill gives us the choice we need. Please support HB 140.
