How do you expect to be taken seriously as a newspaper when you post the headline “FREEDOM RINGS” (Oct. 9) over a photo of Oliver North, disgraced former lieutenant colonel and felon, whose conviction for his part in the Iran-Contra crimes was overturned on a technicality?
That Oliver North, the reliable right-wing pundit who discounts a 7 million-vote victory in favor of widely debunked conspiracy theories. Just how is he a part of freedom ringing?
