It is most informative to learn that President Joe Biden and Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff are doing so financially well.
Their recent 2021 federal income tax returns have been released. According to CBS News, the Bidens jointly earned $610,702 and paid $150,439 at a tax rate of 24.6%. They contributed approximately $17,000 to charities. Vice President Harris and Doug Emhoff jointly earned the tidy sum of $1.66 million and donated approximately $22,000 to charity. They paid $120,517 in California’s 2021 income tax. Emhoff paid $54,441 in District of Columbia's income tax. Nice work if you can get it! It is so comforting to learn the president and vice president are doing so well.
Unfortunately, America is still suffering with the highest inflation rate we have seen in decades (8.5%). In 2020, it was 1.2%.
Biden decrees that what he is now doing will alleviate issues we see at the gas pump, on depleted stock shelves at the grocery store and in price escalations for everything we had no problems with in the past.
Biden assures us all will be well. President Harry Truman had a sign on his desk that said, “The BUCK STOPS here!” Biden blames many others rather than himself and his ineffective, damaging policies and plans.
America was a top energy resource in the world prior to Biden’s election. We now are suffering on a daily basis with Biden “Band-Aid” solutions designated for rectifications at the gas pump. He blames Vladimir Putin and his brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ever-so-greedy oil companies for the disastrous fuel pump results. Those problems began before the Russian-Ukrainian invasion. It is easier for Biden to blame Putin, the old KGB operative who has been an evil source of unrest for years, rather than acknowledge that Biden’s plans and endeavors are weak and ineffective. He appears to be living in his own sublime world, not the real world we all endure now.
Another major, dangerous problem is our “wide-open” Southern border. There is no feasible end in sight to secure this ongoing disaster. American citizens living in this dangerous environment see every day the dangers encountered by the massive influx of undocumented immigrants moving freely throughout our country. Biden ignores the safety and security of our people, Initially, he designated Vice President Harris as the border “czar.” That was a complete disaster. The administration appears not to appreciate questions concerning the ongoing border nightmare the residents live with on a daily basis. Has Biden been there himself? I don’t foresee that visit to ever happen.
Our country must survive three more traumatic years under the Biden administration. In 2022 and 2024, we have the opportunity to change these difficulties and return to American “normalcy.” Congressional and presidential replacements will allow us to secure a new, successful, positive American future. America has always been a great, strong country. We tolerate negativity for just so long. 2022 and 2024 look like the great American rebirth opportunity we all deserve, and it’s achievable!
