Here it is, almost time to decide which plan to use for Medicare and medicines. It would be nice if we had a Congress that would look out for the seniors of this country, but we don’t. I just got the Medicare book today for 2022, and I’m depressed already over my prescription plan increasing.
It’s going from $17.20 per month to $22.70 a month for 2022. So if I was to get a cost-of-living increase, it’s gone, plus the other changes I haven’t even looked at yet.
Medicare “Part B” premiums will go up, as they have every year. Then, I am sure my Medicare supplement insurance will go up, as always, twice a year (once in January and then again on your birthday).
I think it should only increase once a year, either in January or on your birthday, not both. Last year, cost-of-living increases only covered Part B, and I’ve gone in the red every year since Obamacare. And when and if they do tax more on the rich and companies, we going to pay it, too.
Congress doesn’t seem to care about the seniors, only illegals and refugees. Then, I see where Bernie Sanders wants to give us $1,000 to use on Medicare benefits. Why not just drop the Part B premiums? It should be free for us anyway. We worked years and paid many taxes, and no one cares about us. Just make us still keep paying and paying.
Shame on all the Congress, present and past. It will be even nicer when we vote to put people in there that do really care about all.
And what about our state insurance office helping us?
