Reality bites, and our future will tell the tale.
It will not benefit Americans to have the strong-arm tactics being used in the Inflation Reduction Act bill. Joe Biden must think his political future looks very bright. His approval ratings are around 40%, the highest in a while. But what goes up can come down, as ratings only in the teens did for Republicans.
The far-left faction of the Democratic Party must be joyous over the outcome of the bill. America is heading to be a socialist state if the Democratic movements expand. Money is no object. Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont thinks it was not enough. Will expanding their plans will include tax hike?
It all may look bright on paper, but the reality for Americans may be a different story. I see the initiative to employ 87,000 more IRS agents to be questionable at best. Do Americans really want to see more agents who will have the ability to audit anyone, not just those making more than $400,000?
Right now, Democrats’ November 2022 is looking much better than a short time ago. What happens to Americans in the months ahead depends greatly on reality, not the promises of this bill.
The FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence is a dangerous example of the depth of power in the Department of Justice and FBI. Unfortunately, it looks to me as if Justice and the FBI have become American Gestapo and can do whatever they want. This is worse than a socialistic nation. I see our future in jeopardy and our individual freedoms in serious danger.
One more questionable action promoted within the Biden group is reestablishment of the faulty Iranian nuclear deal. Are they really expecting Iran to comply truthfully with the terms? The EU and Americans are looking at a very dangerous agreement with a country who hates us. Do we really believe that Biden’s diplomacy will really work with adversarial nations?
I have always said — and it holds true today — “politics is a dirty game.” Unfortunately, with the path America is taking right now, I fear we are on the losing side! We need new leadership to show strength and power at all levels of our government and military. Our enemies respect strength and detest and dishonor weakness but President Biden and his colleagues seem oblivious.
Will Americans pay the price? Time will tell.
