What’s with all the incessant chatter about whether the British monarchy is racist? Of course they are!
My dad was British, and I have visited “jolly old England” more than 20 times.
Harry and Meghan are quite right to speak out about it and the problems the racism has caused them. The monarchy and racism are a disservice to the commoners because the illogical biases, coming from the top, perpetuate so much discrimination.
The monarchy is the epitome of the old English class system, which was horrible and lingers in some circles. It is a bad institution, allowing a few people to live like kings, through no virtue of their own, feeling superior to all others. The one good thing about the monarchy is that it attracts billions of dollars into the nation in the form of tourism, benefiting many a common man/woman.
