I’ve written before of my concerns about the left-turn signal lights on Hickory Ridge Road and DuPont Highway.
The timing allowed to make this flashing red-arrow turn needs to be adjusted. Vehicles are not given enough time to make this turn, thereby causing people to try to rush through the signal before it turns back to solid red. North- and southbound traffic on DuPont Highway is sometimes forced to suddenly brake to avoid turning cars.
If you think this idea is going to prevent accidents, I think you’ve failed. I believe there’s going to be a major one sometime soon. Please look into this issue as soon as possible.
