Voters in the 16th District go to the polls Sept. 13 in a primary race for the Senate seat. Eric Buckson is an experienced Levy Court commissioner, who has proven himself over and over again as a leader in our community and in our state. Eric is the most responsive political person I know, one who drops everything when a constituent calls.
A lifelong resident of Kent County, he will represent everyone in his district and in our state. As a former educator, he believes in a strong education system and social service system. He believes in our rights to keep and bear arms, and he backs the blue, believing in a strong police system. He believes in preserving agriculture and protecting our bay shores. A forward-thinking leader, he thinks decisions through and tries to consider the impact to all groups involved.
