More GOP claptrap from Ms. Jane Brady (“Delaware GOP: COVID proposals ‘too rigid,’ Sept. 16). What is this “natural immunity” Ms. Brady speaks of and who decides if you have it? The individual? Some crackpot doctor on YouTube? A GOP functionary?
Many of the exemptions she talks about are in place. I think it’s hilarious for a GOP functionary to be talking about “personal choice” when GOP governors are taking away personal choice every day from people trying to follow the science and keep themselves and their families safe.
And yes, I, the president and many others are personally offended by people who think like you and who will not take the pandemic seriously, refuse to wear masks and get vaccinated, thereby infecting other people and keeping the country from resuming any kind of normal life because of their “personal choice.” It’s nothing but willful ignorance and dangerous to those of us who want this pandemic to end.
