I have endured Beverly Monahan’s numerous Letters to the Editor praising Donald Trump and forgiving his myriad unethical behaviors: lying more than 30,000 times while in office, practicing nepotism, using malicious language, calling women by derogatory terms and making harmful decisions, such as his generating the violence that led to the deadly Capitol insurrection Jan. 6.
Other damaging decisions from him include starting a trade and tech war with China that resulted in months of continuing reduced supplies of laptops, tablets, computer chips for vehicles, etc., and bungling his handling of the coronavirus.
In her most recent letter, Mrs. Monahan expressed concern that Joe Biden “stay the course” with China that had been laid out by Trump (“We must remain strong with adversaries,” March 4).
I don’t think so — not with China or any other “course” that the former president took.
