In my opinion, President Joseph R. Biden Jr. is a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States of America. He claims zero responsibility for damage his policies have done to change our way of life and economy. Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was a gift, as it allowed Biden to initiate and push a false narrative of Putin’s inflation and Putin’s gas price increases.
While one could list many policies that are destroying this country, there are two that need special attention— our open Southern border and the potential for a second nuclear arms deal with Iran. Biden will tell you that the border policy is based on our humanitarian nature and that we can stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. I believe those explanations are patently false and driven by our complicit, failed news media.
Regarding the Southern border, in fiscal year 2021, it has been said approximately 1.7 million people crossed the Southern border. Add an estimated 300,000 not caught, and that’s over 2 million individuals. In the first six months of fiscal year 2022 (Oct. 1, 2021-March 31, 2022), it’s been estimated there have been 1 million crossings. If Title 42 ends, we could easily see well over another million prior to Sept. 30. Add in an unknown number not apprehended, and that means we could have over 4 million-plus illegal aliens entering our country. Where will they go, what will they do and how will they live?
Use of the word “humanitarian” to justify these crossings is cruel and inhuman. If they can’t legally work, they could be forced into an underground economy with lower wages, long hours and harsh working conditions. Additionally, how will they obtain the pandemic-stretched social, medical and educational services offered by federal, state and local governments? American taxpayers and poor and indigent American citizens will also suffer. There is nothing humanitarian about taking people from poverty in their homelands to placing them in the same situation in the United States.
The sad part of this situation is that the border crisis can be solved. Unfortunately, Congress appears to have abdicated its responsibility, saying solving the immigration problem is a “difficult situation.” I say take away the lobbyist money flowing in Washington, and a solution could be found.
Biden’s attempt to negotiate a second nuclear arms deal with Iran is incredibly naive and only weakens our national security posture.
Never forget that some ayatollahs have identified the U.S. as the “great Satan” and that it must be destroyed. In the end, any document agreed to won’t be worth the paper it’s written on. I believe Iran is going to develop a nuclear weapon and that will open Pandora’s box in the Middle East. Once that happens, I think Israel will act first.
The midterm elections are only seven months away. I urge every voter who steps into the voting booth this November to look closely at the initial after each candidate’s name. I suspect there are a lot of well-meaning politicians who have a D after their name; however, I wonder why some are so silent about the chaos this administration has brought on our great nation. Do they lack the courage of their convictions or are they just voting with the party?
It’s past time for major change in Washington, and only we, the American voter, can make that change happen.
