To whom it may concern in government:
As a concerned American citizen, I feel it needs to be brought to your attention that you are failing this nation miserably.
You have allowed inflation, an influx of illegal immigration and overall price gouging, among other things, to overwhelm this country. How are the middle class or working poor (those who will work) supposed to survive in these precarious times? Our countryside and beach towns are overrun with construction, and wildlife are dead everywhere on the road because they have no place to go.
Everyone feels the pinch of troubled times, but these times, blamed on the COVID-19 pandemic, are nothing more than the government’s way of squeezing the life out of this country to fill their own agendas and wallets. On behalf of this nation, I ask that you try and look past yourselves and see the needs of those who voted you into office. Try and visualize the damage being done daily and deterioration of a country still loved and appreciated by many.
Remember that you, too, are a part of this precious country that you are destroying. It fulfilled your dreams and put you where you are today. Think about that before you vote to continue dragging us down.
