LeeAnn Rimes to perform acoustic evening at Bally's Dover

DOVER — Singer-songwriter LeAnn Rimes will perform at The Rollins Center at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort on Nov. 8 at 9 p.m. Tickets range from $50-$125 and are on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at  BallysDover.com.

Ms. Rimes burst onto the music scene as a teenager and made history at 14 by becoming the youngest solo artist to win a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Her groundbreaking success continued at 15 when she because the first country artist to win Artist of the Year at the Billboard Music Awards.

Over the years, she has gathered 63 singles, including the hit “How Do I Live,” which holds the record as Billboard’s Hot 100 all-time No. 1 hit by a female artist and ranks No. 6 on Billboards “Greatest of All Time: Hot 100 Songs” list.

Her latest album, “god’s work” in 2022 was her 19th and her career saw a significant resurgence. In the same year, she won season four of FOX’s “The Masked Singer.”

Beyond her musical achievements, Ms. Rimes is dedicated to using her voice for social impact. She received the Ally of Equality Award from the Human Rights Campaign, the HOPE Award for Depression Advocacy, and the ACM Humanitarian Award.

Her 2020 album “CHANT: The Human & The Holy: topped iTunes New Age Chart for five weeks, and her iHeartRadio podcast “Wholly Human” has been celebrated for its contributions to mental health awareness.
