I just received an email from our new governor saying that he has signed legislation to lower energy costs.
Taxing higher-income citizens to subsidize the electric bills of lower-income citizens is not lowering energy costs. It is redistributing income from the more financially responsible citizens to those who are not, in order to equalize income, just like any good socialist politician would do.
This is just another Democratic trick to get more votes at the expense of the financially responsible citizen, not to mention a move that encourages class warfare.
