There has been recent talk of imposing mask mandates due to a rise in the COVID-19 numbers and a new variant coming out.
I hope that before the U.S. government places restrictions on U.S. citizens, we reinstate Title 42 at the border and restrict unscreened people who might spread the disease from entering the country.
A quote from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website states, “The most effective — and cost effective — way to protect Americans from known and unknown health threats that begin overseas is to stop them before they spread to our shores.” (Source: cdc.gov/globalhealth/what/default.htm.)
