MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Drake Lindsey threw the go-ahead touchdown pass to Darius Taylor early in the fourth quarter after two costly first-half interceptions, and Minnesota’s defense overwhelmed quarterback Bryce Underwood to beat Michigan 20-14 for the first time since 2014. Aydan West and Zack Harden set up scores with interceptions in the second half to help the Gophers hoist the Little Brown Jug in front of their home crowd for the first time in 49 years. The Wolverines had won 35 of 38 games in the 134-year-old series since the No. 1 team in the AP poll lost 16-0 at Minnesota in 1977.
IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Julian Sayin threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns, two to Jeremiah Smith, and No. 5 Ohio State beat No. 14 Iowa 31-14 on Saturday. Sayin was 20-of-27 passing, and his favorite target was Smith, the nation’s top receiver. Smith had 11 catches for 206 yards, becoming Ohio State’s leader in receptions (207), receiving yards (3,381) and receiving touchdowns (36). Smith caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Sayin with 12 seconds left in the first half to give the Buckeyes (4-1, 2-0 Big Ten) a 17-6 lead. Sayin threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Smith with 6:11 left in the third quarter. Iowa (4-1, 1-1) got its only points on two field goals and Braeden Jackson’s fourth-quarter 2-yard touchdown run.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — Turbo Richard ran for 204 yards and a touchdown, Josh Hoover passed for 251 yards and four touchdowns and No. 6 Indiana beat Rutgers 47-15 on Saturday night for its 21st straight victory. The defending national champions last loss occurred in the first week of the 2025 season. It is the longest win streak since Washington won 21 straight from 2022-24. Indiana (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) amassed a season-high 593 total yards. Richard returned to the starting lineup after leaving the Northwestern game last week in the second quarter with an ankle injury. He showed no ill effects as he was barely touched running for over 200 yards for the first time in his career.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — No. 18 Southern California rallied from a double-digit deficit in the second half for a 25-21 victory over Washington. Jahkeem Stewart returned a fumble 48 yards for the go-ahead touchdown late in the third quarter. Jayden Maiava passed for 245 yards and hit Tanook Hines for a second-half score while the Trojans surged back with the game’s final 15 points for their first victory over the Huskies since 2016. Demond Williams Jr. passed for 198 yards and led Washington on a late drive from its 5 to the USC 12, converting two fourth downs and a third-and-11 along the way.
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Freshman kicker Jacobo Echeverria Lozano booted three field goals and Antonio Harris scored a late touchdown on a 1-yard run as Purdue defeated Illinois 24-17 in a Big Ten game. Lozano was perfect from 30, 34 and 33 yards, making him 11-for-12 for the season, as the Boilermakers (2-3, 1-1) won in Champaign for the first time since 2022 and brought the Cannon Trophy home with them after losing to Illinois the past two seasons. Purdue’s Ryan Browne was 18 for 27 passing for 255 yards and a TD. Assad Waseem caught three passes for 98 yards. Katin Houser was 21 for 37 passing for 225 yards for Illinois (2-3, 0-2). Collin Dixon caught 10 passes for 116 yards and a TD.
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Dwayne McDougle III’s 81-yard interception return for a touchdown sparked Nebraska in the first half and the Cornhuskers all but shut down Maryland after that in a penalty-filled 48-23. The Cornhuskers are 5-0 for the first time since 2016. The Terrapins were coming off a 51-point home loss to UCLA but led most of the first half until things turned on the third pick-6 thrown by Malik Washington over four quarters. Their 18th loss in 20 Big Ten games increased pressure on eighth-year coach Mike Locksley. Nebraska's Anthony Colandrea ran for 108 yards and threw for 238 and three TDs.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Colton Joseph threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another score to lead Wisconsin to a 31-3 win against Michigan State on Saturday. Jacob Harris rushed for two scores for the Badgers, who have won four consecutive games. Joseph, a former Old Dominion quarterback, went 9-of-20 passing for 145 yards. He had 10 rushing attempts for a season-high 130 yards, making him the first Badgers QB to rush for at least 100 yards in a game since Tanner McEvoy ran for 158 yards against Bowling Green in 2014. Michigan State has lost three straight games.

The person told the AP on condition of anonymity because the decision has not been publicly announced. The Athletic was the first to report on Fox Sports’ decision. The Barstool Sports founder said on social media that it was Ohio State and coach Ryan Day who forced Fox Sports to take them off the show
