Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings to open in Dover

Posted

DOVER — Nashville, Tennessee-style chicken restaurant Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings is opening in Capital Station later this year, according to R&R Commercial Realty.

The franchisee group cited downtown’s development plans, as well as the proximity to Dover Air Force Base, as reasons to expand to the state capital.

The eatery offers chicken wings, wraps, fingers, nuggets, its signature “Sando” sandwich and more.

A location is also planned in Wilmington, but the Dover site on North Dupont Highway is expected first, in fall/early winter 2024.

The chain added that, if expansion plans continue, there could be up to six more Hangry Joe’s establishments opening on the Delmarva Peninsula.
