GEORGETOWN — The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition is teaming up with the First State Community Action Agency on Saturday to host a no-cost breast examination clinic.

Early detection saves lives, the organizations note, adding that they encourage prioritizing breast health and screenings.

Open to the public, the “Love Your Breasts” event will take place at Georgetown Presbyterian Church at 203 N. Bedford St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Assistance in Spanish and Haitian Creole will also be available.

Private, 25-minute exams will be performed by a licensed medical professional in the AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware van.

For information or to sign up, email Mary Jo Vazquez at mvazquez@debreastcancer.org or call 302-672-6435. Walk-ins will be accepted.

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, a 501(c)(3) organization offering statewide services, can connect people to resources and provide interpretation services.
