Fortney: What’s the truth about the Iran war?

Posted

It’s the same thing over and over on the news with the president.

One day, it’s not a war, and then, the next, he’s saying, “when the war is over.” Why isn’t anyone questioning him?

And I don’t really care which party you are, but we were told a mess of promises back in 2024 that inflation will be coming down, and it is still going up. And, if you don’t see that, then you’re more blind than me.

This week, in the grocery store, the sale price is last week’s regular price. And most people working have to put most of their pay in for gas just to go to work. Then, today, the president is blaming someone else for the diesel fuel increase. I thought he had sanctioned all of Russia’s oil sales.

Our problem is that the far right and the far left will not listen to anything, only what they want to hear. And, as long as their thinking is that way, we are never going to be a great nation again. It’s a real shame that people do not really listen or see everything.

As to what I see with the Iran war, they have still won. They’re still sending rockets up, controlling the strait and so on. We were told that, if they sent rockets up, we would bomb the launch site, but they’re still launching. What is the truth? Which is it, a war or not?
