Fortney: How can the government afford the Trump arch?

Posted

Two things I would like people to think about: Now, the government has plenty of money for this arch, but all those on Social Security and Medicare think that the government has no way of beefing up the Social Security funds. Think about that for a few minutes or even hours! I don’t care what party you are and whether you’re on Social Security. It affects you, too. Now, open your mind and think about the cost of the arch. And, also, remember that, each year, we have to pay increases in Medicare, thanks to Obamacare, which was passed without reading, and neither party has done anything to retract that to help us.

The second thing to think about and look at is: How can one person in a country that’s not supposed to have a ruler or dictator be able to just do things? Now, I would like you to think of countries where this does happen and see if you can name those three. I know, as always, some of you are only going to see nothing happening. I really don’t care for a leader who calls people stupid on TV just because they don’t agree with his or her ideas. I think that is called a “bully.” We spend years teaching our kids not to do those types of things, and then, we have a leader doing it. It’s a real shame. I do hope that those on Social Security will vote for someone to take care of us and not just say that he or she will. And all I ask is for people to think. Thank you.
